In case of migration from Seychelles to another country as a permanent resident without any intention whatsoever of returning to Seychelles to seek re-employment, a member may claim for the refund of his or her member’s pension contributions on providing documentary proof of migration.

If the person decides to return to Seychelles the person can contribute to the Fund to be able to earn a pension, that is, on completion of 10 years of contribution and on attaining retiring age be entitled to receive a pension or in case of contributing less than ten years be eligible for refund of both the mandatory and voluntary contributions made to the Fund.

A member may apply for Migration Refund if the member has migrated or is about to migrate from Seychelles to another country as a permanent resident of that country.
