Have you registered for our “My Pension e-Service” platform yet? This week, we asked our Administrative Officer on La Digue, Ms. Annielle Payet, about her thoughts on the scheme, and why our La Digue customers should register:
“I am the Pension Fund’s Administrative Officer on La Digue. I assist our customers with their queries and I also guide them on how to properly use our “My Pension e-Service” platform.
“When the scheme was introduced, I was initially worried. Was I going to be able to explain to our customers how exactly this service worked? Our Head of Corporate Communication then explained each step of the registration process to me in detail. I soon realised that the platform is actually very easy to use!
“There are so many benefits to registering for the “My Pension e-Service” scheme. Your statements will only be a couple of clicks away and you can access your information any place, anytime and anywhere. The platform is also safe to use and your account can only be accessed by you. So many of our customers currently pass by the office, just to collect their monthly paper statements. With the “My Pension e-Service” scheme, you’ll no longer receive these. This means you’ll save on paper and you’ll save on time.
“One of the biggest challenges we have on La Digue is getting our members to register for the service. There is sometimes a fear of new technology, but the “My Pension e-Service” scheme will make life so much easier for our members. You won’t need to come to the office, just to check your contribution balance or to see whether you’ve qualified for your pension: the “My Pension e-Service” will give you all of this information on one screen.
